some people have imaginary friends, and i do imaginary shopping

Alexander Wang

3.1 Phillip Lim

One of my favourite past times on Saturday afternoons, instead of studying, is imaginary shopping. These two pieces have absolutely nothing in common. The Wang sweater is grungy, metallic and ultra-cool, while the Phillip Lim wool ruffle skirt makes me wish I had a job that I could dress up for. Source: Net-A-Porter.

I've been obsessed with bangles for months now and Style.com has finally reassured me that that clinking sound on my wrists aren't that annoying (despite my mother's opinion). I may not be wearing them all up my arm or in psychedelic colours but I'm wearing them nonetheless. Source: Style.com

I went to yoga last night. Should someone tell this chick she's not doing the "wheel" pose right? I'll excuse her because she's wearing killer shoes. Source: We Heart It.

that ringing in my ear won't stop

Sevan, David Webb, Kara Ross, Cartier.

Amedeo by M+M Scognamiglio, La Reina, John Hardy, M.C.L.

I'm all about intricate cocktail rings lately. On average, I wear four hella bold rings in various colours and sizes. Oh and sometimes three on one finger (don't ask). Rings are an amazing addition to an already out-there outfit because they don't distract from the face like earrings or necklaces sometimes can, and add a subtle yet eccentric touch to any getup. I have a similar animal ring to the David Webb and Cartier rings that are shown but mine was a considerable fraction of the price... A girl can dream! Source: Women's Wear Daily.

ain't life grand!

I watched Bonnie and Clyde for the first time today. I don't really want a lesson in robbing banks and shooting. But we could all take a lesson from Faye Dunaway's getaway girl style: berets, bandit scarves, tailored trenches, briefcases, comfy flats, minimal jewelry and the perfect bob.

hey mk, stop being so stellar, i dare you

Members Only liquid leggings

Members Only liquid leggings on Lauren Conrad

Members Only liquid leggings on Nicky Hilton

Members Only liquid leggings on Taylor Momsen

Members Only liquid leggings on Rihanna

Congratulate me! I finally bought clothing online, Members Only liquid leggings that I've been eying for months. None of these girls wear them particularly well (I do like Rihanna's look) but the leggings are fierce nonetheless and I can't wait till they come in the mail so I can incorporate them into my wardrobe.

personal discovery: boogie

I recently came across the Serbian photographer, Boogie. His shit is raw, somber and sometimes shocking. He shoots guns, gangs, skinheads, children, the homeless, the cracked out, urban landscapes and characters, as well as on-location in Brazil, Instanbul, Tokyo, NYC... just to name a few. Boogie reminded me of Ross Kemp's amazing documentaries. Check out more of his photographs on his website. Source: http://www.artcoup.com/.
