My fave jeans, J Brand, has teamed up with designer Hussein Chalayan to perfect the whole jeans slash leggings (jeggings?!) thing. Shown above is the "Legging" but other styles include the "Beau" and the "Circuit". Wantwantwant. But on a serious note, can anyone over size four wear these with dignity??? Source: The Moment.

sienna does denim
FLASHBACK TO 2007:
Sienna Miller graces the cover of Nylon Magazine once again, for their annual denim issue. She's still sporting Doc Martens in the pics, but this time around she opts for a light pink and a white instead of the floral and hot pink ones in 2007. You go girl! Source: Nylon Magazine.

scott schuman, the sartorialist, toronto
What a night I had yesterday. My favourite fashion fiend, Kortney (The Unapologetic Eccentric) who writes for She Does The City took me and our fab friend David to a cocktail party at Holt Renfrew celebrating the renowned fashion photographer, Scott Schuman, better known as The Sartorialist. (For all you non-Canucks, Holt's is Canada's fashion specialty department store and carries all the designer labels.) Fellow Canadian blogger, Tommy Ton, from Jak & Jil also showed up and got some lovin' from the don himself.
What I wore: vintage military style velvet jacket, vintage hot pink tank, metallic/silver bubble skirt that I made from old fabric, studded Aldo heels, fringe bag from H&M, grandma and mother's jewelry.
What Kortney wore: Marc Jacobs liquid cardigan, cinched black dress, vintage belt, vintage vest, Burberry bag.
What David wore: Brooks Brothers blazer, Etro button down, Hermes silk scarf, Nudie jeans, Cole Haan brown loafers, green socks, Louis Vuitton messenger.
P.S. Fashion Magazine took a photo of me (below), check out the rest of the blog post here!

easy does it
Ashley Olsen has been dressing down lately. Majorly. But I'm adoring the photo taken of her Sunday afternoon because she looks put together but with a laidback attitude, contrary to her recent black and baggy granny uniform. Source: Faded Youth Blog.

top of the line

Fall 09 lookbook from Topshop. Oh yeah baby! I'm loving all these looks. I had my first in-store Topshop experience last month in London but I think this may call for a trip to New York since there is still no Topshop in Canada. Boo hoo. Source: The Pipeline.

watermelon

Fruits during the summer is my favourite. If asked what food group I'd eat for the rest of my life if I was forced to, I always answer fruits and veggies. On another note, I'm usually not a fan of Taylor Momsen's style but I couldn't help this. Are suspenders out?! Source: Faded Youth Blog.

stylewatch: diane couger
When I say Diane Couger, I just mean a hot lady with a flaming wardrobe, because Diane Kruger is no couger seeing as she's thirty two and dating my childhood crush Joshua Jackson aka Pacey from Dawson's Creek. I've picked out some of my favourite looks from the modactress (model/actress). I like Kruger better dressed up at parties and on red carpets, than dressed down on the street.
