violence
"But isn’t there something crazy, truly crazy, about fashion ? And not only crazy, moreover, but also noisy, very noisy, thunderous. Fashion has no time for silence, it bursts your eardrums. (…) fashion speaks of caprice, of spontaneity, fantasy, invention, frivolity. But these are falsehoods. Fashion is entirely on the side of violence, the violence of conformity, of adhering to models, the violence of social consensus and the contempt it conceals within it."
- Georges Perec

Kort and I at The Spoke Club for Rock-It Promo's Nanoblur launch. I wore a whole lotta vintage: mom's old oh-so-nineties white Robin Kay dress (fits like the Calvin Klein 'Clueless' remake dress), leopard print scarf, leather carryall, three-piece gold and black drop earrings and oversized velvet cardigan. Non-vintage items: chain and leather Jenny Bird bracelet and Sam Edelman Zoe boots (not pictured).
