just watch me
The acclaimed Terry Richardson's spread for Vogue Hommes International, with a supposed focus on men's watches. Uh, I don't know if it's just me, but watches definitely weren't the first thing I noticed. Makes me wanna crank up that anticipated summer heat! Source: Fashion Indie.

boy oh boy
Style.com recently payed homage to Boy George, as a beauty icon, noting his thick brows, white-painted face, bold lips and psychedelic cosmetic scheme. I rarely wear make-up during the day, but on the weekends I tend to stick to the same boring look... chunky black mascara, and sometimes black, smeared eyeliner or red lipstick if I'm feeling extra daring. I think it's time for me to pump it up Boy George style. This weekend, my plan is to add some eighties-themed hues into my nighttime beauty routine. On a similar note, I've been thinking about being a club kid à-la-party-monster for Halloween a few years now... but I'm just not sure anyone would get it.

office appropriate?
I'm loving the exaggerated shoulder trend, it almost looks like body armour to provide protection from war (or life traumas?). Besides the fact that this Balmain number is see-through lace, could this be office appropriate?! Maybe with a high-waisted skirt and a singlet underneath. Source: Net-a-Porter.

the sixties

gold animals
Paper and Pine is an online boutique with "hand selected goodies" including bags, clothes, home accesories, body butters and more. The gold animal jewelry is really what caught my eye. The double lion ring just might be the hardest double finger ring I've ever seen and everything else seems straight-out-of-a-fairy-tale. I miss my dog and these creatures may offer up as as substitute (sorry, Leyla!). The jewelry I've shown ranges from $60 US dollars to $160 US dollars. Via: Nightlife Magazine.

crack cocaine
Gianfranco Ferré heels that are very impractical but look insane. I just can't seem to wrap my head around them. They should be in a museum. Talk about show porn and a whole new take on the meaning of shoe addiction (shoes=crack). Thanks Merms for making me check these babies out. Source: Jak & Jil.

innovation
A very futuristic Chanel perspex briefcase from Karl Lagerfeld's Fall 2009 collection. Whether or not this bag is wearable, Lagerfeld's creativity and ingenuity shines with this piece. To boot, it's high functional (perfect for the working woman?) and holds slots for lipstick, glasses, a purse, an iPod and other female necessities. Source: The Cool Hunter.
